Actually it is good that the government can offered loans to those who wish to obtain higher education..At least financial burden can be solved but the point is how many of the students are repaying it? It has been highlighted in the media that not many are paying it..Just wonder what is the reason that these students refused to pay? Is it because they have other committments as well? |
Erm... other commitments might be one of the reasons. But I think the amount to pay is actually very less (min from RM 50 if I am not mistaken) so I cannot see why the graduates not afford to pay it when they can own a car? |
selfish is the best word to describe..these people only care about themselves..they dont even realised that without those loans, they cant even obtained a degree..they dont even think for others i.e if they can repay their loans, the government will have more funds to loan to others who also need them..agree? |
Currently, the government is taking actions to those default payers. Some of their names already being blacklisted in their website. Some even received warning letter from the government but they just ignore it.. Let them face the consequences later. |
It is sad to learn that there are so many ungrateful students! The government also need to spend money everytime they send out those default payments letter, warning letters & even court order! I think it is right to have their names blacklisted & I have heard that they could not even travel to overseas once they are blacklisted! |
Haha... but dont worry, they are smart.. they will charge you for the administration fees as well.. So in the end, we still have to bear for those postage fees as well. So the best way is pay them accordingly. Those who still haven pay their loans can check the PTPTN website and key in their IC to check whether they are being blacklisted or not. |
I feel that those grads really unable to look for job, then of course they cant pay back the loan..but for those holding jobs, this should not be an excuse..after all it is our responsibility to do so..why they need the government to "chase"them?? |
Haha.. selfish is the main reason .They rather to keep the money for themselves than repaying back to the goverment. When they took the loans they expect the loans to arrive earlier but when they expect to pay it back then they will pay it late..
|
Those defaulters never appreciate what the government has given them..imagine what will happenned if the government decided not to give loans to students anymore? This will definitely be a burden for those who really need it. |
Erm.. this maybe will happen when the ptptn is totally out of money. When the bad debts amount is too large.. Maybe their application for the loan will be more strict. Do you think increase the interest will be able to force those defaulters to pay their loans? |
Yes, at least they will try to pay in order to avoid the interest charge..But again, they should know their own responsibilities! |

Yes, you are right..there is no doubt those underpaid actually "suffered" in silence..as they still need to survive..unless he/she is the company's most important person..eg. a very experience staff, thus the company definitely will not be paying low salary to him/her..sometimes these "old, experience" staff are even more powerful than the boss!! |
Haha... I agree with that. The company need those people to keep their company strong.. But what if that person is going to retire? then how the company is going to survive without them? |
That is why when the company is too dependent on these "old senior staff", it is not a good sign..more opportunities should be given to young graduates..they will have more great ideas to manage the company too.. |
Yup, maybe they should start to train the fresh grads so that they can take over those staffs when the time comes..
Actually, newcomers will be able to provide the company more new and fresh ideas.. this might be good for the company too. because the company might need some changes too after long operation... |
These fresh grads are the future..That is why the company should not underpaid them as they will be able to lead the company in the future. Even the most senior staff in the company also started as freshie.. |
